here's my first idea. So I saw those awesome lace tights on Taylor Momsen in the latest issue of german Glamour magazine.
But is it possible to wear them in a small town?
Well, I went to H&M instantly and bought a pair, and I derived this style:

Other than that I only used items I could find in my wardrobe, and in real life it looks like this:
Silk shirt, black top, tweed shorts, necklace and tights are from H&M, Shoes from Tamaris, the lace gloves I bought some time around carneval, so they can be found around Halloween, or at a Hot Topic store. The cap is really from France, I think, it was a gift from my grandma. Flats (and removal of the lace gloves maybe...)make it suitable for everyday use. As for the color, I wear black ones (from Office, jersey mary jane ballet flats), but why not try white or red ones?
I don't know if I'd go outside dressed like that... Actually I think those tight would also look really good with those new boyfriend style shorts or knee-length hareem pants.
I forgot the nerd glasses on the picture even though of course I own a pair (mine's from Pimkie's). And I'm just a little bit proud that I had wanted them a loooong time before there was that one picture of Keira Knightlex wearing a pair.

You will see those lace gloves more often now, because I LOVE THEM, they add a sense of romance to every outfit, make it classy, add some excitement... *-*
As for make-up, I have murder eyebrows, so I usually make my eyes pretty dark (I usually do a thick black Sixties style line and lots of black mascara) but in this picture I wanted to try a cleaner, fresher, more innocent style, so all I applied was foundation, concealer and face powder (Bobbi Brown and Rimmel), and I painted my lower lip a slightly darker red. It's probably hard to see, but it looked kinda cool in the mirror.
Maybe a very very faint orange would do, too...?

Plus I'm planning on getting my hair cut like it is in my sketch... I love low bangs!!
I need to find Brogues... where can they be found (affordable, please!!)??
Please help me,
love, M.
